Kids Hope is a school mentoring program where one church and one school team up to provide mentors for children in need at South Knox Elementary. The idea is for one church, one child, one mentor to help at risk kids by spending one hour a week with that child during their school day. The mentor helps with school work in areas the child is struggling in, spends time with them doing something fun, and hopes to help the child to feel special and loved and to know they have someone in their corner. This is for children from kindergarten through the 6th grade.
